You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world,
and there’s still going to be someone who hates peaches.

I can’t begin to fathom how feminists on this site even have the audacity to feel oppressed and complain about something as petty as slut shaming or a man staring at their ass, when girls and women world wide are being sold into sex slavery, facing genital mutation, getting killed for trying to…

Feminism is a global issue, yes women in first world countries have it easier than the women in more poor parts of the world but does that mean we should stop asking for equality? I live in the safest community in Canada and I still look over my shoulder when I’m walking alone at night. Just because we don’t have it as bad doesn’t mean we should just accept it. Should we help the women in those countries? Of course! But not everyone knows how. And obviously women are going to focus on the issue that’s outside their front door before the issue that’s halfway around the world.
And all women ARE victims. Victims of sexual assault or rape or lower pay, the list goes on and on. Things like slut shaming or men shamelessly making women feel uncomfortable are part of the problem (rape culture!).

I just want to lay down next to you with our legs intertwined. I want to look into your beautiful brown eyes that i sure as hell would get lost in. I want to trace my fingertips across your skin. I want to talk about the world with you. I want to stroke my fingers through your hair and i just want to kiss you. I want to let you know how much I love you.
